Rockford car salesman ID’d as man found shot to death in Little Village

CHICAGO (WLS) — A Rockford car salesman took two people on a test drive last Friday and never came back.

His body and the car were found Saturday morning in Chicago’s Little Village neighborhood.

The victim, 36-year-old Crisoforo Osorio-Gonzalez, had been shot in the head and back, Chicago police said.

The owner of the Rockford dealership where he worked said Osorio-Gonzalez left the business last Friday to take two people on a test drive. His body was found the next day, in the 3600 block of West 26th Street, according to Chicago police.

The dealership owner told ABC7 he wants justice for his friend.

“He was happy, happy person,” he said. “Treated customers like he knew them for 20, 25 years.”

Chicago Police have not made any arrests. No other information was initially available.
